Early Learning Centre
About Shari – ELC Teacher
It is a privilege and wonderful experience to oversee and create this learning space for Nunawading Christian College.
Working with children and influencing their early years is a passion of mine. It is without a doubt, a rewarding job, and I like to think the children who pass through my classroom influence and impact me just as much as I influence and impact them.
I would like to warmly welcome you to Nunawading Early Learning Centre, and look forward to working alongside you.
The information in this handbook will assist you and your child/ren in settling in and enjoying your experience with our service.
If you require further information after reading this document, please do not hesitate to contact the Early Learning Centre staff or NCC office staff.

Early Learning Programs
The program includes:
- School focused cognitive development – practicing problem solving, small maths equations and ICT learning.
- Primary Buddies – Partnering with NCC Primary Students to assist learning and grow comfortable with Primary School.
- Attending weekly chapel programs.
Every Thursday our ELC students attend music classes with Mrs Monika Kapusi, our talented Primary music teacher.
Students explore rhythm, beat, pitch, music & movement and have the opportunity to play instruments.
This develops a love of learning in each child and continues through primary school and beyond.
