The core belief of Nunawading Christian College is ‘Nothing Without God’. Everything we do aims to make God the centre of our school.
Students participate and lead out in weekly chapel services, school dedication night, Week of Worship programs, Festival of Faith, daily class worships, church visits and the Bible ‘Encounter’ program.
We employ teachers who have a personal relationship with Jesus, who support the values and mission of Nunawading Christian College and are committed to caring for the spiritual well-being of your child.
Nunawading Christian College has a thriving sports department.
Students compete at EISM level in Athletics, Swimming and team sports each week. This year NCC won the Division 3 EISM Swimming Carnival and our Boys B Volleyball team were EISM Champions!
The school has a fantastic new oval and state of the art multipurpose gymnasium, regularly hosting cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, AFL and soccer tournaments.
Both Primary and Secondary Students regularly participate in visual arts and theatrical art performances.
Every year our primary school musical is a great success. In 2015 students performed “Back to the Cross”, a journey through time back to Jesus.
Every second year, students in the secondary lead a school play, most recently presenting Sound of Music and Les Miserables.
Year 9 Challenge Program
Every Year 9 student at Nunawading Christian College participates in the Challenge Program. The program encourages students to discover their potential and the possibility for growth outside their comfort zone. Practical activities combined with personal reflection helps each child discover more about themselves and look beyond themselves to the needs of others.
Each year students have a big adventure to Philip Island and throughout the year participate in rock climbing, kayaking, camping, community service activities and more!
